About the research made by the author over the different behavior of two main topologies of WSN routing protocols. These topologies are clustering and flat. There is a lot of literature of energy-efficient clustering routing protocols, also of energy-aware flat routing protocols. After reading are proved both performances by simulations.
As in Wireless Sensor Network the most important break point is energy management, knowing behavior of routing protocol it is possible to find the best energy management in each moment.
After that, a new energy-aware routing protocol are proposed and compared.
Also an aggregation mode is proposed and checked it by simulating.
