This report was developed during theperiod of February to December 2021by Mikkel. S. Galsgaard at AalborgUniversity. The report investigatedclass II hybrids with different ratio ofsilica andPoly(Methacrylic acid), aswell as two linking agents GPTMS andTMSPMA. FTIR, TGA, Degradation,SEM and Micro-indentation analysis,were performed on each produced hy-brid as well as the produced referencematerials. These analysis were all per-formed to investigate whether the pro-duced reference materials were synthe-sised correctly. They were also used toinvestigate, if any of the produced hy-brid materials were suitable as tissueengineering materials for bone grafts.
