- Anna Slavensky
- Stine Ellegaard Jakobsen
4. semester, Urbant Design (cand.polyt)., Kandidat (Kandidatuddannelse)
The project report illustrates a design strategy for how
the former airfield area Tempelhof, now a temporary
park in Berlin, Germany, can undergo an urban transformation
and be developed into an area, which can
adapt and adjust to its surroundings. In the same time
it should emphasize the unique historical qualities and
the multiple existing activities. The design strategy
consists of three focus areas, which each ensures frameworks
for how the public spaces, the landscape and
the new built-up areas should be developed. The main
focus is to create a social and cultural divers district in
the heart of Berlin.
