Route Guide Providing route guidance for Nomadic Users

The purpose of this project is to develop a Route Guide application prototype, providing route guidance for nomadic users.
The idea is that nomadic users interact with the Route Guide from mobile - or desktop computers in order to create, modify or delete information stored in a User Profile. Information stored in the User Profile is used by the Route Guide to answer requests for route guidance.
The actual route planning leading to route guidance is implemented by the use of ArcView, providing the road network.
route guidance is provided as HTML, WML or Voice depending of the platform used by the nomadic user.
