This is the second of two reports describing my work with the proposed method, called Geometrically Derived Image Based Lighting (GDIBL). The method introduce a technique to reconstruct spatially variant lighting conditions for rendering synthetic objects in computer graphics. This is achieved by referencing multiple light probes through a rough geometric representation of the sampled scene. The GDIBL method was successfully validated through the implementation and demonstration of it's effect on a synthetically rendered scene.
