This project is about the investigation of the impact of a large number of heat pumps in a particular distributions network, in order to investigate whether an intelligent control can improve the utilization in the network.
For this there is developed a new proposal for a concept model that can help to define flexible loads flexibility. This is used for the developed reference system with good experience.
The reference system that simulates the coupling of the heat pump to the distribution network, with the aim to provide an realistically power consumption on an hourly basis over a year. The system is tested by calculation, and gives a realistic picture of consumption.
In addition, a developed and simplified approach for an adaptive intelligent control system that controls by weather forecasts, COP value and market prices, the results were surprisingly good and had a better performer in all areas.
The utilization rate, where with these parts tested and the project concluded that the intelligent control can improve the utilization of the specific distributions network.
