With advances of the mobile Internet,
location based services (LBSs) attracted
attention of many people. This
report presents description of a software
system that supports rapid development
of integrated, high quality
LBSs for tourists in urban areas. We
describe system architecture that divides
system in several parts. One
of the parts consists of reusable components
that are used to make up
LBSs. Reuse of the components allows
integration and rapid development of
LBSs. We also emphasize that LBSs
should provide correct and up to date
information. As proof of concept, we
combine components into mobile LBSs
for tourists.
