Abstract
The aim of the thesis is to conduct an empirical study of contemporary grief culture from the perspective of the adult survivor and thus contribute to the further visibility and development in understanding grief and dealing with sorrow. Which understanding of contemporary grief culture can be developed on the basis of adult survivors’ experiences of their networks’ reactions to their loss of a significant other adult?
