Abstract
Denne rapport er resultatet af projektarbejdet på Industriel Designs afgangssemesterfor civilingeniører i Arkitektur & Design ved Aalborg Universitet.Det overordnede mål for projektet er at demonstrere, at undertegnede har opnåetviden og kundskaber til at formulere og gennemløbe en produktdesignproces herunderproblemstilling, brugerundersøgelser og konceptudvikling af et innovativt løsningsforslagsamt en vurdering af det samlede resultat. En vigtig dimension i projektet hari vid udstrækning været at inddrage brugergruppen.
This project is made at Aalborg University, Institute of Architecture & Design, Industrial Design, 10. Semester, 2008 The system product, Nicoo-Univers doesn’t take its point of origin in current products but in the necessary development of kindergarten children with basis in the theory of Howard Gardner, “Multiple Intelligence” The project is therefore about a system which can contribute to the stimulation of the different intelligences in this group of children. NicooUnivers contains a line of elements which form the frame around a universe with several dimensions which again try to meet the needs of the target group. NicooUnivers invites the children to multiple play and activities which can develop the intelligences. It is a tool for the kindergarten teacher to reach this goal and to accentuate their methods in a more varied work. The system will in addition involve the parents in their children’s progress. The design proposal is a beginning of the progress in long term project. Hopefully it can give a new focus to designing products for children which purpose is stimulation of children’s different intelligences, by playing
