Abstract

Agricultural vehicles are heavy and operate on rough terrain, so steering requires large forces. Hydraulics are used because they can supply these forces, but internal leakage must always be considered. This thesis models leakage in the gear set of Danfoss’ OSP hydraulic steering unit. Such leakage can cause the steering wheel to drift, which Danfoss wants to reduce. Incorporating the leakage into a nonlinear model helps reveal its influence on system behavior and provides a tool for exploring ways to reduce it. Due to problems with the model, the work instead focuses on analyzing the OSP hydraulic system to identify the causes of the modeling errors.

Landbrugskøretøjer er tunge og kører i ujævnt terræn, så styringen kræver store kræfter. Derfor bruges hydraulik, som kan levere disse kræfter, men interne lækager skal altid tages i betragtning. Dette speciale modellerer lækager i tandhjulssættet i Danfoss’ OSP-hydrauliske styreenhed. Lækagerne kan få rattet til langsomt at drive, hvilket Danfoss ønsker at reducere. Ved at indarbejde lækagerne i en ikke-lineær model kan man se, hvordan de påvirker systemet, og bruge modellen som et værktøj til at finde måder at begrænse dem på. På grund af problemer med modellen har arbejdet i stedet fokuseret på at analysere OSP-hydrauliksystemet for at finde årsagerne til modelleringsfejlene.
