Abstract
This Master's thesis explores how to optimize air mixing and heating performance in the Airmaster AMX4 system to reduce thermal stratification and improve indoor comfort. The study reveals a clear relationship between inlet temperature, airflow rate, and flow angle, all of which significantly affect temperature distribution and comfort within the occupied zone. Draught issues were localized and could be mitigated by adjusting the flow angle. Air quality remained consistently high, with effective pollutant mixing across scenarios. The findings define specific comfort zones and provide practical guidance for optimizing AMX4 settings, supporting better control strategies and enhanced indoor environmental quality.
