Abstract
This project focuses on how non-personal support products in the form of guides support the user’s learning of a specific application in a work context. Users are secretaries employed in the general secretariat of the European Parliament whereas the application ITER is a central part of the legislative workflow. On the basis of a prestudy in form of a survey and subsequent tests performed by a group of users, the project discusses learning as well as design aspects of the guides in relation to those learning strategies, which the users apply.
