Abstract
Dette speciale undersøger, hvordan CAFM – et IKT-baseret (informations- og kommunikationsteknologi) system til at styre drift og vedligehold – bliver indført i praksis. Udgangspunktet er en interesse for samspillet mellem det sociale og det tekniske, når ny teknologi tages i brug. Med kvalitative metoder, især interviews og observationer, analyseres hvordan teknologi og brugere påvirker hinanden. Det teoretiske blik er socio-teknisk (STS, Science–Technology–Society studies), og SCOT (Social Construction of Technology) bruges til at beskrive, hvordan forskellige aktører forstår og former teknologien. Analysen kortlægger, hvem der er involveret i implementeringen, hvilke udfordringer der opstår, og hvordan de håndteres. Afslutningsvis diskuteres resultaterne i forhold til implementering af CAFM på et hospital.
This thesis examines how CAFM—an ICT-based system for managing operations and maintenance—is introduced in practice. It is motivated by an interest in the interplay between the social and the technical when new technology is adopted. Using qualitative methods, mainly interviews and observations, the study analyzes how technology and users shape one another. The theoretical lens is socio-technical (STS: Science–Technology–Society studies), and SCOT (Social Construction of Technology) is used to describe how different actors understand and shape the technology. The analysis maps who is involved in the implementation, the problems that arise, and how they are addressed. The thesis concludes by discussing the findings in relation to implementing CAFM in a hospital.
