Specialet behandler individbegrebet i relationen mellem læge og patient. Gennem en hermaneutisk tilgang undersøger vi hvordan individet kommer til udtryk i relationen mellem læge og patient, og om det er nødvendigt at lægen ser patienten som værende et individ, for at kunne behandle patienten.

This thesis exsamins the relations between doctor and patient. Through a hermeneutical approach we exsamine how the concept of the individual is expressed in the relation between doctor and patient and it is necessary for the doctor to see the patient as a individual in order to treat the patient.
