Abstract
Midt i den forrevne norske skærgård står Hatlehol Kirke som et tydeligt element i naturen. Den rager op over den tætte skov og fungerer som et samlingspunkt i området. Afhandlingen undersøger, hvordan kirkens konstruktion og samspil med lys skaber rammerne for rummet og understøtter oplevelsen af det guddommelige. Fokus er på mødet mellem arkitektur og landskab og på, hvordan form, struktur og lyssætning kan invitere til fællesskab og eftertanke.
In the rugged Norwegian archipelago, Hatlehol Church stands as a distinct element in nature. Rising above the dense forest, it serves as a gathering point for the area. The thesis examines how the church’s construction and interplay of light shape the space and support an experience of the divine. It focuses on the meeting of architecture and landscape, and on how form, structure, and lighting can invite community and reflection.
