Resumé
Specialet tager udgangspunkt i erfaringer fra praksis, hvor klassiske teorier og modeller kun delvist forklarer den uforudsigelige virkelighed i organisationer. Formålet er at undersøge, hvordan organisationer kan navigere i kompleksitet: hvilke udfordringer kompleksitet skaber, hvordan de kan håndteres, og om forumspil kan fungere som en brugbar metode. Projektet bygger på en socialkonstruktivistisk erkendelsesramme og trækker blandt andet på Complex Responsive Processes of Relating, projektsamfund, usikkerhed og midlertidighed. Anden del udvikler kriterier for en brugbar metode i kompleksitet med fokus på tillid, meningsdannelse, anerkendelse, håndtering af paradokser og improvisation samt erfaringsbaseret læring og procesdesign. Tredje del analyserer forumteater og forumspil som forandrings- og navigationsgreb ved at vurdere deres forandringspotentiale, facilitatorens rolle og metodens udbredelse, understøttet af empiriske elementer som interviews og materialer om praksis. Da denne tekst omfatter de første sider af specialet, præsenteres især problemstilling, teoretisk forankring og metodegreb, mens konklusioner og specifikke fund ikke fremgår af uddraget.
The thesis starts from practice-based observations that traditional theories and models only partially account for the unpredictable realities of organizational life. It examines how organizations can navigate complexity: what challenges complexity creates, how these can be addressed, and whether forum play (forum theatre) is a useful method. The project is grounded in a social constructivist perspective and draws on Complex Responsive Processes of Relating, the project society, uncertainty, and temporariness. The second part develops criteria for a usable method in complex contexts, emphasizing trust, sensemaking, recognition, working with paradoxes, and improvisation, alongside experiential learning and process design. The third part analyzes forum theatre and forum play as approaches to change and navigation by assessing their change potential, the facilitator’s role, and current practice, supported by empirical elements such as interviews and practical materials.
