Abstract
The purpose this project is to design a virtual learning environment through an open and iterative process with maximum involvement of users. This learning environment can encourage the individual student's engagement in the learning process, for example by setting clear goals for each task, offering students an individual choice and systematic and timely feedback. The project is based on a theoretical framework that envolves Flow-theory Construcktivistict learning theory and a didactic model for gamification of education. The project conclude that a virtuel learning environment should contain elements from computergames, the opportunity for collaborative knowledge production, and elements that promote a high degree of immersion. In addition, the learning environment, of course, relate to, and should meet applicable laws and ministerial formulations of aims and curricula.
