Abstract
Bishop Edward King Chapel is located at the heart of a campus where England’s future priests and the religious order The Sisters at Begbroke go about their daily lives. The chapel serves as a central gathering place that bridges the new and the old, bringing students and nuns together in a community of faith and devotion. The architecture’s shape and structure, combined with the play of light, define the space and deepen the experience of the sacred. Through deliberate design choices, a clear meeting point has been created for the small congregation of students and nuns.
