Abstract
The research is a qualitative study on how two different immigrant groups, Hispanics and Polynesians are achieving academic success in bilingual education in the United States. The research uses the theory of Axel Honneth's Value and Recognition, Diversity Management and Pierre Bourdieu's Capitals. It focuses on both agent and expert interviews at two different elementary schools.
