Projektet udspringer af en undren over, at udsatte borgere med komplekse problemer har svært ved at navigere i velfærdssystemet. Med afsæt i Mariagerfjord Kommunes initiativ ‘Bedre Koordineret Sagsbehandling’ undersøger bachelorprojektet, hvilken betydning koordinations- og samarbejdsmodellen ‘Tværfaglig koordination og samarbejde’ har for socialrådgivernes praksis. Undersøgelsen bygger på fem kvalitative, semistrukturerede interviews med socialrådgivere i Mariagerfjord Kommune og en tematisk dataanalyse. Analysen identificerede tre temaer: organisatoriske og kulturelle forskelle, helhedssyn og kvalitet. Resultaterne peger på, at modellen understøtter en mere koordineret og samlet indsats over for borgere med komplekse sager, styrker socialrådgivernes helhedssyn i tråd med kommunens ambition om en sammenhængende indsats og medvirker til øget kvalitet i socialt arbejde.

This project stems from the observation that vulnerable citizens with complex problems struggle to navigate the welfare system. Building on Mariagerfjord Kommune’s ‘Better Coordinated Case Management’ initiative, the study examines the consequences of implementing the coordination and cooperation model ‘Interdisciplinary Coordination and Cooperation’ for social workers’ practice. The research is based on five qualitative, semi-structured interviews with social workers and a thematic data analysis. Three themes emerged: organizational and cultural differences, holistic view, and quality. Findings indicate that the model supports a more coordinated and unified approach to complex cases, strengthens social workers’ holistic view in line with the municipality’s ambition for a coherent effort, and contributes to increased quality in social work.
